Veddah Culture

Goonabandi is the sub chief and he is desperately trying to preserve the Veddah way of life - their

very rich culture (curing dances and songs) , self sufficiency - hunting with bows and arrows and

gathering of food and medicinal plants and of course wild honey. This is a struggle. The families he is responsible for are very poor.
