During the tea break, the healer had prepared a bunch of mango leaves. First he smoked the bunch to call the disease causing demons.
Next he took up this bunch of mango leaves which was tied up with white thread and to more recitations he waved them over the patient’s head, after first dipping them into the clay pot of purified water.
