The costumes for the dancers for Pattini Ceremonies are fairly similar to those worn during Tovil Curing Ceremonies. However there are some important differences.
For many of the dances of Pattini Ceremonies dancers wear head coverings
Costumes worn for the dances preceding the appearance of the Deity Pattini. Whitened faces and kohl lined eyes are typical for these dances.
